Do my clients need to install an app?
No. Tapping your tag opens their card in the phone's browser. They can add it to their home screen if they like, but they don't have to.
Which phones work?
Almost every recent smartphone reads NFC tags: iPhones from the XS (2018) onwards, and Android phones with NFC switched on. Clients without NFC can still join with your QR code.
Where do I get the tags?
Two secure tags come in the post when you start. Extra join tags can be any NTAG213 or NTAG215 sticker, written with a free app like NFC Tools; your dashboard shows how.
Can clients collect stamps without buying anything?
The stamp tag stays behind your counter, so a stamp needs you. Each tap on a Loyi tag makes a new one-time code, so a saved or shared link doesn't work from home. You also choose a minimum time between two stamps, and you can switch a tag off from your dashboard at any moment.
What if a client clears their browser or loses their phone?
Until they save their cards, stamps live in that phone's browser. Saving takes a few seconds with email or Google, right from the card. After that they sign in on any phone and all their cards are back. Cards that were never saved are lost with the browser.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. The first 14 days are free, and you can cancel before then at no cost. Or try the demo card on your phone right now, no account needed.
Can I change my rewards later?
Yes, as often as you like. Clients with a full card choose from the rewards that are switched on at that moment.
How do I reach my clients if I don't have their email?
With a follow-up message. Pick a group, such as clients who haven't been back for a month or who are one stamp from a reward, and write a short note. It shows on their card in Loyi. You see how many clients are in the group, never who they are.
What do the insights show?
Stamps per day, new and returning clients, rewards used, your busiest days and hours, how often clients come back and how far they are on each card. Everything is counted from anonymous activity.
Do I need a computer?
No. Everything works in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
What happens to my clients' stamps if I stop?
When your subscription ends, your tags pause: clients can't collect new stamps, but they keep the stamps they have and can still use rewards they earned. Subscribe again and everything continues where it was.
Is it GDPR compliant?
Your data is stored in the EU, in Belgium. Clients collect stamps anonymously: you see a code per client, never a name, email or phone number. Follow-up messages are matched on the client's own phone, and activity is deleted after two years. Shops and clients can download or delete their data themselves at any time. Read our privacy policy.
